Delete your account

Last updated: 17 August 2026

You can delete your DaylyWork account whenever you want. This page explains the two ways to do it, exactly what gets deleted, and the little that we keep. Your profile disappears from DaylyWork immediately, and you have 30 days to change your mind before it is erased for good.

1. Delete it yourself, inside the app

This is the fastest way. Your profile stops showing to employers the moment you confirm.

  • Open the DaylyWork app or website and sign in.
  • Go to Profile from the bottom bar or the menu.
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  • Read the confirmation and tap Delete.

2. Or ask us by email

If you can no longer sign in — you lost the number, or the app will not open — write to us at daylyworkteam@concientech.com from any email address and tell us the mobile number registered on the account.

We will check that the account is really yours before we delete anything, usually by sending a one-time code to the registered mobile number. This protects you: without that check, anybody who knew your number could have your profile erased.

We aim to acknowledge your request within 24 hours and to complete it within 15 days of confirming your identity.

3. What is deleted

Your profile stops showing to employers and you are signed out everywhere straight away, on this phone and on any other device. Your details are then held for 30 days so that you can change your mind — see section 6.

Once those 30 days pass, the following is erased from your profile and cannot be recovered:

  • Your name.
  • Your mobile number.
  • Your email address, if you added one.
  • Your city and locality.
  • Your skills and the languages you speak.
  • Your work experience and education details.
  • Your resume — both a file you uploaded and one we generated for you.
  • Your profile photo.
  • Anything you wrote to us in Help & Support.

4. What we keep, and why

We do not delete the record that a job application or a hire happened, because that record belongs to the employer as much as to you — an employer must be able to see their own hiring history.

What we do is strip your personal data out of it. What is left carries no name, no phone number, no email, no resume and no photo, and cannot be linked back to you.

Separately, we may have to keep certain records where Indian law requires it — for example an ongoing fraud investigation, a legal claim, or a lawful request from an authority.

5. Your mobile number is released

Once the 30 days are up and your account has been erased, your mobile number is free again. You can use the same number to sign up for DaylyWork later.

If you do, you start as a brand-new user with an empty profile. Your old profile, resume, applications and history do not come back — by then there is nothing left to restore.

6. You have 30 days to change your mind

For 30 days after you delete your account, nothing is erased yet. If you change your mind in that time, just sign in again with the same mobile number — your profile, resume and applications come back exactly as they were, and the deletion is cancelled. There is no form to fill in and nobody to email.

Job posts do not come back for employers, and neither does anything you had already been signed out of on other devices — you simply sign in again.

After 30 days the erasure runs and cannot be reversed. If you only want a break from job messages, consider simply not using the app for a while instead of deleting your account.
